Where To Stay

Pentre Bach Holiday Cottages is the main site for accommodation. It sleeps 30 people. We will be renting it out for the week. It will mainly house our immediate family and wedding party but there are likely to be a few other spots left. Please do let us know if you would like to stay at Pentre Bach for the week with us.

Below we have listed a few of the accommodation options nearby. I am afraid we haven't stayed in any of them so can't recommend which are the best, however, the list will hopefully get you searching in the right direction. Please do let us know if we can be of any more help looking for places to stay. And it'd be great if you can tell us which one you chose!

Other Accommodation in the village: Please note that Llwyngwril is a very small village. We recommend you book your accommodation very early to avoid disappointment.

Plas Y Nant Cottages These are 4 cottages which are literally right next door to Pentre Bach. A fantastic option for families or small groups of people who want to have their own space but be very nearby the rest of us! There are two cottages that sleep 4, and one that sleeps 6. Self catering cottages are a very popular and most economical way to stay somewhere. Typically cottages are let for a week, but you may be able to talk to the owners about having a shorter stay.

Coed Talon a 4 star B&B with very pretty gardens right in the village of LLwyngwril. It's a short walk from Pentre Bach cottages. Prices are £33 per person per night if staying one night, and cost slightly less per night the more nights you book. There appears to be one ground floor bedroom for those unable to use stairs.

Details of 3 more self catering cottages in Llwyngwril can be found at this website.

Camping: There is a seaside camping spot just down the road. There may also be a possibility of camping on the grounds of Pentre Bach. Please let us know if this is something that you are interested in.

Accommodation in nearby villages:

If you want to be nearby but in a bigger village with a nice beach, restaurants, shops and plenty of hotels and B&B's, then look for accommodation in Barmouth. It's a 27 minute drive away. This seems far but it is in fact very close. To drive you have to drive around the little inlet of water. There's also a boat that will take you across from Fairbourne or the train which would take minutes. This website should get you started in your search, but do google accommodation in Barmouth to find many more options.

Fairbourne is another nearby village, with a nice beach. It is across from Barmouth and yet only 7 minutes drive from Llwyngwril. A local guest house is Einion House which you can see at
